Jammal Badawi,  Wholesale Agent from Libya:

My name is Jammal Badawi and I have been working with Nergy Telecom for four years. I am based in the Libya and in 2001 I initially started using IP-Telephony as a retail customer for my calls abroad.

After some time I discovered that there was also the possibility of creating my own business in co-operation with a large telecommunications company. I took a friend's advice and established contact with Nergy via the Internet. I spent some time learning more about Nergy Telecom's services and their partnership programs and decided to take the plunge. Two days after I had made my first pre-payment I was set up as a wholesale agent and began studying how their services worked and how to manage my own platform. To my great relief, I wasn't left alone in my efforts; my Account Manager provided continued assistance with all my issues and start-up difficulties. The help that was supplied during this time was invaluable to me.

At the very beginning I started providing Callback and CLI Callback simply by selling calling cards in my own country. Three months later I decided to offer the PC-to-Phone service. I already had approximately 300-400 clients on my database, which was continuously growing. Therefore I decided to expand my business into Algeria and Morocco as these two markets appeared to have an enormous market potential for my services.

My work with Nergy Telecom has benefited me by expanding my global business contacts and has also given me a lot of positive experience in the telecom sector. I am now hoping to involve my son into the telecom business, as I have to travel a lot and am also managing several local enterprises.

I have used Nergy Telecom's services for nearly four years and I believe that the quality of its services is excellent. For example, if I have a question or need to undertake some changes to my business I am able to liaise with the Nergy Telecom team and solicit their advice.
